A genuine piece of offshore sailing history, transformed into a timeless Mamukko classic.

This Camper Lifelovers Rainwalker Gear Bag is handcrafted from an original sail of the legendary Camper Lifelovers Volvo Open 70 yacht, skippered by Chris Nicholson, which finished 2nd overall in the 2011–12 Volvo Ocean Race.

After the yacht’s racing career ended and was sold, part of this remarkable sail found its way to us through our good friend and long-time sail supplier Ben Fusco. We carefully stored it for years, waiting for the right project. From that single sail, we have created just four Rainwalker Gear Bags.

Originally designed by Levente Magyar, the Rainwalker has become one of Mamukko’s signature designs. This edition beautifully showcases the iconic red-and-white Camper sailcloth, complete with the original Mamukko logo patch, an authentic Camper Lifelovers yacht graphic on the front, and the original Volvo Ocean Race logo on the back.

Every crease, stitch mark and sign of use tells the story of a sail that has travelled around the world before beginning a second life on land.
